Lots of people ask me what stuff I use in my daily routine, which is why I maintain my list of to-die-for softwares here. Note that these are my favs, and your choice might differ. Not that I care... >:)

• My MacBook Pro (or a GNU/Linux distribution, preferably Ubuntu or Debian)
• GNU Emacs editor, with lots of addons, a custom .emacs, and much care and love.
• Mozilla Firefox, with Firebug and YSlow. (web developer heaven!)
• XDebug for PHP.
• Lots of other FOSSy stuff that I can't even mention them all here.
